I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SpaceX (Redmond, WA)
Interview
The first interview is basically a get-to-know-you type behavioral interview. The recruiter asked a few questions about my resume/listed projects and my motivation for wanting to work at SpaceX. Just know your resume inside and out and talk like a human and you'll be fine.

Question 1
What was your motivation for applying for this specific position at SpaceX?
first interview was very lax, asking questions about resume, some of the challenges that come along with class projects, individual projects, etc. just to ensure you weren't lying on your resume
Recruiter interview was good but they were trying to act like they knew technical content in depth and it was kind of annoying when they would try and correct me on technical points even though I was right.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SpaceX (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2025
Interview
The interview was over the phone and about 40 minutes long. Very technical. The questions were about PD control, orbit determination, and the frequency domain. They also asked questions about my projects on my resume.
