I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Spectrum in Mar 2025
Interview
1️⃣ Phone Screening – Initial conversation with HR, mostly about my background and expectations.
2️⃣ Virtual Interview – Interview with the hiring manager and department director, focusing on behavioral questions.
I was expecting a technical interview, especially since this role requires advanced Excel and SQL skills. However, they did not ask any Excel-related questions. The SQL questions were very conceptual and general, which made it unclear how they assess candidates' technical expertise. It felt more like they were evaluating team fit and work style rather than actual technical proficiency.
