Spectrum Management Level Position interview questions

I was one of two finalists for a management level position. Told the offer would be made by the following Friday to whomever was selected. Never received a phone call or letter. I believe at this position level there should be more professionalism shown by the company by making a personal phone call or at least sending a letter indicating the other person was selected.
