Simple interview with one person. He was all business and did most of the talking. I was told several times that I had the experience and great skills for the job (I do). At the end I was told they would "definitely be in contact with me". Almost 2 weeks went by but in that time I had decided to do more research on the company. I am looking for the RIGHT job for me and am careful to find out all I can about the businesses. I was very glad I did. There were MANY red flags about Spectrum Signs regarding the lack of fair compensation as well as very negative things about the company culture. The interviewer had stressed to me that there was "job security", but in my research I discovered very concerning reports from people saying that was not true. I emailed them after 2 weeks to ask if the job was still open, but by later that day I had decided that I would not accept a job offer if it came. A couple days later I got an email saying "the team" had chosen someone else. This was odd because I never met anyone from the "team". After seeing what the salaries were at Spectrum, I knew that I didn't and couldn't work there. I have significant experience and skills as a senior designer/art director/manager and I suspected that there was no offer because they knew what they would pay would be much less than was fair or what I had previously made in my career. I agree with others who have stated the salaries to be insulting and far too low for their skills or the amount of work involved. I was happy I did my research and had decided this was not the company for me.
