I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Spirit Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2015
Interview
I applied Feb 15 f2f Feb 25.I arrived at 7:15 check in started at 7:00 interview wasn't scheduled to start until 8, get there as early as possible cause there was a long line.show them your documents Please make sure u are 21. AND you NEED a passport they will not let u in with just the receipt. There was a total of 120-130 people that showed up. They did the presentation of the company let you know how much your going to get paid, what to expect and basically the overview of the company. They are one of the few airlines that actually keeps it real with you. They tell you the truth basically so you know what exactly to expect. The presentation was about 30-45 min took a 15 min break you had the option to leave or stay and we was also told to go to our group letter after the break. Our group's consists of about 20-25 people. We stood up in front of everyone stated our name where we where from and pulled a random question out of the bowl. Make sure u elaborate on the question don't say just one word answers, make it funny, show some personality. (But don't be over the top) the interviewers then stepped out told us to mingle for 10 mins. They came back but didn't make a cut..They then proceeded with the next activity which was a group assignment make up your own airline with your group and then present it to the class, be creative and energetic, interact with the members in your group, have a voice and be fair remember they don't want bossy people they want team players. After we presented, they made the cut, we went to lunch, had f2f and then from there names where called to be cut..no news is good news, afterwards we did fingerprints n background. Remember to relax and be yourself don't be to over the top. The most relaxed airline interview I've ever been to. Better than Delta, they don't make you feel pressured and you don't have to overly interact for them to notice you. The HR people are really young (unlike delta)which made me even more relaxed good job spirit!!!
