Multiple interviews as well as a design test. I'm not a fan of doing design work for free, but I really wanted the job. In the end, we couldn't agree on salary.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sportiqe Apparel (Tempe, AZ)
Interview
Multiple interviews are conducted with HR, the potential direct manager, both co-founders, and key members of the department team to ensure alignment in culture, expectations, and team dynamics in the company.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sportiqe Apparel (Tempe, AZ) in Dec 2024
Interview
Run of the mill...antiquated style of processes. Recruiting should be a skill that requires the ability to bring the company in the forefront of the discuss as well as give a solid timeline on needs of the business.
Applied online...given the standard "Thank you for applying" email.
Took 11 days before any further contact.
Virtual Interview was 4 days later.
Completed the Virtual Interview and was stated that I could be a good fit and the next step was to complete am "Assignment"
This was an idea grab in my mind...company wanted ideas on markets to delve into to see if my ideas were in alignment with theirs.
Completed the assignment same day as Virtual Interview.
5 Days later received an email thanking me for completing the assignment quickly and then was told there would be a meeting with ownership but it was changed last minute but assured that there would be a response by and of week.
6 days later and still no response.
Reached out via email and requested an update. Following day received a response that they were overwhelmed with applications, and it was taking them longer than expected to communicate but confirmed they were moving forward with other candidates.
So all in 34 days from initial application to a response.
