Horrible Recruitment process. I applied for two roles back in March. GFor one I got email only yoday 31/05 that they have filled the role. For the other role I received an email thanking me for time to participate in the call and praising me for getting that far as interviews are only for the best people (sic!). Funny thing is havent had any interviews with anybody from Spotify and this was the 1st and last one time Ive heard from the recruitment team. They never even respond or specify which role was it related to. Unprofessional all the way.

Recruiter sent me an email welcoming me to the interview process, and at the same time sent two calendar invites for interviews without even asking me for availability. I definitely was not available for the first interview but changed my schedule. The first interview was with the recruiter, and shockingly was within a few hours of when he had sent the email. The recruiter never showed up: ghosted on the interview he had set up himself, and then never responded to apologize or anything. He later ghosted again the same way: requested a meeting, put a meeting on my calendar, never showed up to his own meeting, and never responded to my questioning emails. All a bad sign. Made it through to the last phase of the interview process, and I receive an interview schedule request email asking me to choose to complete several interviews at either 1am or 2:30am the next week. I thought it was a mistake. No. After 7 interviews and a 10 week interview process, at the offer stage the company closes the role for budgetary reasons. Nobody gets hired. In the end, I was relieved it was over. Lots of negative energy during the interview process, I was angry at the lack of respect for my time, and the lack of professionalism was stunning.
