I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Spotify in Sept 2022
Interview
My experience had 3 steps: 1 - Recruiter call which after that I was ghosted and had to reach out to her in order to continue the process. I was not given a salary range for the role. 2- Technical screen with two engineers. Really appreciate that they were two women (I'm a woman too). 3- Onsite with 4 interviews (5 hours, you need to get a day off work in order to do it): data, system design, coding and behavioural. The people seemed nice overall except for one engineer with a very strong accent which was difficult to understand. Ghosted after rejection. Tried to reach out again to the recruiter in order to have a feedback but I was ignored. I feel it was a complete waste of my time. Do not recommend.
The interview process was long. I had a positive interview with HR. But the next stage was coding round with 2 senior engineers interview was tough need to good practice before going to the interview.

I applied online. I interviewed at Spotify (New York, NY) in Mar 2026
Interview
Received an offer for an interview with a recruiter around early March, it was 20 minutes and the recruiter was very sweet! I was asked about my background, she asked me to elaborate on specific experiences on my resume, challenges I encountered, what technical frameworks I used, the standard questions. It was very straightforward and I received the offer later that day for the final round interview consisting of a 45 min behavorial interview and a 45 min technical interview.
