My interview process with Spotify was disappointing. The first call was straightforward, covering my experience and reasons for seeking a new opportunity. I was then invited to a second interview, which focused on competency-based questions.
The interview was scheduled a week in advance, yet the hiring manager arrived 15 minutes late without detail to why they were delayed. Four days later, I received a generic rejection email stating that other candidates had been selected.
Overall, I found the process unprofessional for a company of Spotify’s reputation. The lack of communication and respect for candidates' time made for a poor experience.
