      Student Success Manager Interview

      21 Jun 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Springboard in May 2017

      Interview

It started with a classic phone interview. There was a 30 minute phone call asking about my background in education and student services. I was invited to answer essay questions. The essay questions were quite detailed and required research. The interviewer was quite friendly and a pleasure to speak with.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Springboard (Peoria, AZ) in Feb 2021

      Interview

There are four total rounds: phone screen with recruiter, written skills assessment, verbal skills assessment, and final Zoom interview. First applied online and then the recruiter facilitated a smooth process. After the phone screen, complete a written assessment. Successful completion results in verbal skills assessment (mock phone call). The final interview is with four people (plus the recruiter) on various topics related to the position. Interview is conversational style with attention to specific examples from previous work history. Quick turnaround time. Excellent recruiters handling candidate communication. Received an offer 3 business days after the final interview.

      Student Success Manager Interview

      7 Jan 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Springboard in Dec 2019

      Interview

There was an initial phone screening, which only lasted 15 minutes. It seemed a bit rushed and I thought it was a bad sign the call was ended so shortly. However, about a week later I was reached out to complete a skills assessment for the role. The assessment took about 2 hours to complete, as you were given mock questions as if you were already in the role. I was quite annoyed by how I received a generic rejection email a few days later from the hiring manager I had been communicating with. No feedback was provided. Not a great candidate experience...
