I applied through university. I interviewed at Squarepoint Capital (Montreal, QC)
Interview
OA and first round live coding. Didn't make it to the second round. The interviewer is helpful in providing hints. Not too hard for quant position. Live coding is Leetcode medium level.
I had a round of coding test. It took around 1 hour and 5 minutes. I was not able to pass it though it is not very difficult. The interviewer is nice to talk to.
1hr Online Assessment, 3 technical Interviews! And a behavioral
Nothing very hard but long wait time for feedback.
First interview - two leetcode style problems (medium but on the easier side)
Second - math&stats questions plus some basic trading questions
Third - pretty easy coding problem + questions about datasets
I interviewed at Squarepoint Capital (London, England)
Interview
4 rounds: OA (hackerrank + probability MCQ), 1 coding round (leetcode questions, pretty simple), 1 maths + financial intuition round (also pretty simple), final live interview with some maths and a live leetcode medium (1hr) and a personality fit conversation (1hr).
Interviewers were all very friendly. Strong accommodation for my timeline since I had competing offers.
