A recruiter reached out to me via email a month after I applied for the position. The intro interview with the recruiter was organized via Google Meet (without a video that I found pretty weird). The questions were basic: my experience, why I would like to work for the company, and salary expectations.
The recruiter said that my experience is a perfect match for what they are looking for and I should expect the same day another person to reach out to me about scheduling an interview. Although nobody got back to me that day, the day after and a week after. I sent the email to the recruiter twice but never heard back.
I rate the experience as negative because of the recruiter's hypocrisy: saying you are the ideal candidate and lining out you from the list at the same time.
