I interviewed at St. Charles County, Missouri (Saint Charles, MO)
Interview
I opted for virtual due to being in school. My two supervisors were in attendance. Asked those questions typical for entry level internships. After the interview, ask you to perform a brief exercise to demonstrate reconciliation ability.
I applied online. I interviewed at St. Charles County, Missouri
Interview
There was an initial prescreen process for about 15 minutes. I received a call back to do a formal interview for about 1.5 hours. The interview was very thorough and had a lot of situational based questions. I was informed the next steps would be to hear back in an email or phone call the next week or so. I never heard back and it’s been at least a month. I understand that we all are super busy but I would have appreciated an email to let me know if they decide to move forward with other candidates or some type of communication.

Question 1
What would you do if an employee came to you upset about their compensation?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at St. Charles County, Missouri
Interview
Interview went fine with reasonable questions. It was with two individuals who were very nice and professional.
I took a vacation day off work and time to attend the interview and was not even given the courtesy of a simple email notifying me that I was not selected for the position. I’m so disappointed that such a professional government organization could not notify its interviewed candidates that they didn’t receive the job. The HR Director was also one of the interviewers.
