The interview process consisted primarily in my having to relate my background and why I wanted to work there. I felt as if the interview was a courtesy rather than a real interview. The new hires seem to always know that they will be hired before the job is even posted. This is somewhat understandable considering that the position is elected on the basis of party affiliation. Personal preferences and the perks that come with political victories still count for something.
