I applied online. I interviewed at Standard Restaurant Supply (Mesa, AZ) in May 2025
Interview
Thw interview itself was not too bad: low-key, informal, not stressful. Salary wasn't posted in the job listing, and wasn't mentioned during the interview. I found out why when I asked; $18 - $20 per hour. Extremely low for a supervisor position. Was told that's why they don't put it in the job listing because then "they don't get quality people to apply". Gee, what a surprise.

I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Standard Restaurant Supply (Boise, ID) in May 2010
Interview
The interview process was very simple. The general manager asked about previous employment skills and how they related to the position being offered. Knowledge of sales and restaurant equipment was assessed through general questions. Mostly the interview was a one-on-one to get a feel for my personality to see if I would fit with the company.
