I applied in-person. I interviewed at Starboard Cruise Services (Santiago) in Sept 2014
Interview
The interview takes place in a hotel conference room along with all the other participants. Group activities take place and you should standout if you want to be selected. There’s only one activity you do o your own, promoting a product. Where you prepare a presentation about it, with music included if you can.

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Starboard Cruise Services (Mumbai)
Interview
It was pre pandemic. First English proficiency test followed by video interview by agency. If your are selected then client interview that’s a whole day process where there is group discussion , role play and one on one interview . Mostly they ask sales related questions, previous experience and why you want to join the cruise lines. Now the process must have changed post pandemic so can’t really comment on that .
Group interview followed by individual interview. They valued participation and demeanor during the group interview to filter candidates. Folks with average speaking skills made it through, so it’s not hard to get in.
