They asked behavioral interview questions and went through experience. Pretty straight forward questions. There was an initial phone screen and then an in person interview and then they made the offer the next day.

I applied online. I interviewed at State Street (Kansas City, MO) in May 2015
Interview
The interview was pretty easy. Interviewed during a big hiring push. With Accounting experience I was kind of a shoo in. They were hiring art majors for this position if that tells you something.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at State Street
Interview
Very friendly. HR communicated with me every step of the way. Hiring managers made me feel very comfortable. They asked a lot of behavioral questions, as well as a few technical questions. They were really basic though. They asked about mutual funds, stock splits, dividends and such. Anyone who took finance courses will know the answers to these.
