I was interviewing for a promotion within the department, so the interview process was different than a new comer to the company. A majority of the time these promotions come from within after applicable experience. I interviewed with managers that I knew within the department so it was less formal than a typical interview would be. I had worked hard over the past year, so I was confident going in that I had a good chance of getting it, as our department was quickly growing.
