      Customer Support Specialist Interview

      22 Jul 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Orlando, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stax (Orlando, FL) in Jul 2025

      Interview

Got an email from a recruiter within a week of applying and set up an interview for the next morning. The interview itself was great - the team was very inviting and overall it felt very casual. I received an email the same day providing an assessment to take and asking for availability for a second interview - only the name on it wasn’t mine (wasn’t even close). I get it, stuff happens, so I replied to make sure it was intended for me. I got a quick response back apologizing and ensuring that it was for me. I took the assessment, provided my availability, and then never heard anything back. I get it, stuff happens and hiring can be chaotic. But I have a hunch that I was never supposed to receive that email - and instead of owning up to the mistake I was mislead and ultimately ghosted. I didn’t receive a generic rejection until I reached out to the recruiter for an update. I have no hard feelings and wish the best in their candidate search, but for the sake of improvement in the future, this process quickly became extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Stax (Orlando, FL) in Jul 2025

      Interview

I applied for the position online and was contacted by a recruiter to schedule an interview with the hiring manager. I was informed that I would be meeting with two managers, but on the day of the interview, I was instead introduced to two team leads along with the hiring manager. The interview started with the hiring manager asking me to walk through my resume and discuss my background. This was followed by a few situational and behavioral questions to understand how I approach challenges in the workplace. While the hiring manager seemed engaged, the two team leads appeared disinterested and seemed to be in a hurry to leave the meeting. Unfortunately, I did not receive any follow-up communication from the recruiter or the hiring manager after the interview.
