Phone screen, two additional interviews, then a 5 person interview that lasted almost 5 hours. While everybody was nice and lovely, there were definitely some red flags from a competency standpoint. Specifically, the hiring manager not understanding some basic compliance obligations and the fact that this role was opened last year and then closed because they couldn't find "the right fit" and then reopened again in February. They seemed adamant about this role starting by end of March, but the hiring manager was still actively trying to find candidates the first week of March on LinkedIn the week of supposed final candidates and decision making. Overall, I get the sense there are a few red flags and overinflated titles and they're assessing more of a "culture" fit (which can be a bit problematic) but a nice group of people.
