I applied online. I interviewed at Stitch Fix (Austin, TX) in May 2015
Interview
When I arrived, a team member helped me connect to wifi to pull up my secret Pinterest board. Then they had me type up a quick "stylist Note" to go with the Pinterest board that I had created. This was all done while I was waiting for the interviewer to come get me. They called me into a meeting room with two interviewers. They asked for the 2 copies of my resume to review while I watched a 5 min video about the company. They asked me their questions, which they didn't have a lot. Maybe 10 at most. Then they asked me to pull up my Pinterest board and to explain why I chose those certain pieces for my pre selected client. They then read the stylist note that I had created. After that, they had me style 3 pieces of clothing that were on hangers behind me. Asking how I would style each piece and what type of body they would look good/bad on. Also, what age group I would send those pieces to. That was pretty much it. I asked a few questions myself. I went on the first available day for interviews, so they said I should hear in two weeks if I got the job. (It hasn't been a full week yet). They also said training would take place at the downtown office (in Austin). The whole interview was about 35 mins. I got an email sent to me 16 days after my interview and I was not offered the job.
