I had been called through consultancy, after that my profile got shortlisted, received a hacker rank test link, having coding question with easy and medium difficulty level once you passed that then they will schedule virtual interview. Total their are 4 virtual interview
1st round was more about Company fit with one of Senior Engineer who asked one easy coding question also asked me to write code as well as test cases, so better be prepared. Asked more about my self, how I do work in my current company, Architecture, Tech Stack, Testing, deployments, how do I tackle the production issues.. etc (30 mins)
2nd round was with 2 Senior Engineers they were from US, Asked me some Low level design question, they were more interested in approach and they asked me to implement the code. you may get question like how to design LRU, LFU cache or how to implement HashMap or Concurrent HashMap. (1 hr)
3rd Round was Architecture round which was 4th round for me -again with Senior Manager and he asked me system design question. better to be prepared few system design topics. I was bit unknown to StockX platform they do bidding to BUY/SELL the products so question was similar to that. I have given best from my side, but looks like Interviewer was not happy with my approach. they expect you create REST API, design DB SQL/NoSQL schema, and more focus on matcher how to do matching for BUY and SELL of products. good understanding of Data types like currency/date format, how to do authentication. (1 hr)
4th round which was 3rd round for me was team fit round mostly they asked work related questions and situational question again prepare for these question. this was easy. (45 mins to 1 hr)
After all rounds HR said my Architectural round was not good so they were not considering it further.
I am writing this so that whatever I did mistake, please avoid those. Actually hiring is not for the person, it's more about how much you have done preparation, how much you have read from internet in very small amount of time.
