I went through four rounds of interviews for this position. For the fourth interview, the General Manager scheduled a Zoom meeting with me but never joined the call. I waited on the call and received no message, explanation, or follow-up afterward. There was also no apology or acknowledgment that the meeting was missed.
I later reached out to the Regional Director of Sales for an update on the status of the role and never received a response.
Candidates invest a great deal of time preparing for and participating in multiple rounds of interviews. Being stood up for a scheduled interview and then receiving no communication afterward from leadership was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. In my opinion, this experience reflects poorly on the company’s communication and respect for candidates’ time.
