I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Stop & Shop (East Killingly, CT) in Aug 2012
Interview
The person who hired me asked the basic questions like "what would you do if a customer was unsatisfied", or "how would you handle this situation." They asked me what hours I would be willing to work and if there were any restrictions I had. Basically they just went over basic job responsibilities.
I applied online. I interviewed at Stop & Shop (Ridgefield, CT) in May 2017
Interview
Easy and Friendly. They truly value your experience with the company, at least at the Ridgefield location. I loved the work environment. It was a good first job and cultivated my customer service skills.
I was called in for an interview and talked to the hiring manager for about 20 minutes. Most of the conversation was about what I was studying in school and what position I would enjoy (she said she had a cashier or bakery clerk position available). I was offered the job at the end of the interview.
