Interview
I submitted my resume through email and received a timely response. They were very flexible with the timing as we both needed to reschedule because of meeting conflicts. When I did finally come in for my interview there was no receptionist and I was sent to seek out the person I needed to meet with in what I am guessing is their design room. It was cluttered and depressing looking (as was the showroom) and no one working looked happy to be there. I was eventually seated at a table in the showroom area and had the interview. It seemed to go well but they were trying to sell the idea of taking a paycut for an entry level assistant technical design position.
All in all it was a pointless interview for my level of experience but probably would be fine for entry level position or someone who is out of work and cannot afford to be unemployed.

Interview
3 Separate interviews with Design Director, included creating a sketch project and meeting the owner of the company. Sketch project was explained as being like the job, but the job does not require sketching. Was called in for a 3rd interview to discuss the sketch project, but the required people were not even there, so I had to come in a 4th time.

Interview
Got reply quickly. Went to the interview in midtown Manhattan. I was asked about my current job and responsibilities. The designer clearly explain the what hiring position is about and what they are hoping to do in the future. I didn't know about the company very well and nothing shows on google search. The nazar studio is the mother company of many brands. So this position was for one of their brands. I sent follow-up letter after the interview, got replied quickly.
