Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Subway (San Antonio, TX) in Jul 2012
Interview
Hausman & 1604 Location
I completed my application online, and got a call from the GM about a week later. I came in right away for the interview, which included a few simple questions, a short explanation of the job, and a written questionnaire (basic math problems, and hypothetical situations). I was pretty much hired on the spot.

Straightforward and professional with typical fast food interview questions. Friendly and easy to talk to interviewers. Reasonable length and in person made it more comfortable. Great experience and easy interview.
Was pretty average hospitality interview process, focus on customer service in a fast paced environment, how to deal with stress, team work/ collaboration, company values, and your past experience. and availability etc.
