I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Subway (McKinney, TX) in Jun 2013
Interview
I did a round-robin style interview where I was asked questions about where I worked before, challenges I've faced, etc. We answered questions individually, but waited to listen to other people's responses. Afterwards, the district managers went into the back office and made hiring decisions there and told us in front of the whole group who got hired and who didn't. (They announced those decisions in a nice tone, but people should have been informed privately, not in front of other individuals.) I dressed in a button-down shirt for the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
-Tell me about your previous work experience.
-Tell me about a challenge you overcame.
Easy flow, face to face and they are quite patient with you. The manager are understanding if it's your first time and let you through the flow of the process
Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
Straightforward and professional with typical fast food interview questions. Friendly and easy to talk to interviewers. Reasonable length and in person made it more comfortable. Great experience and easy interview.
