Some people had a phone interview; I did not. The in-person interview was very brief compared to interviews for comparable positions; we split into groups and analyzed a poem that was given to us, and then took turns teaching a 3-minute lesson on the poem with each person getting feedback, and then the people who went after were expected to incorporate the feedback. The response turnaround was very fast, I heard back in less than a week. There was no one-on-one interview portion.
I interviewed at Success Academy Charter Schools (New York, NY)
