Unlike many other companies, Sucuri actually responded to my application rather quickly. They immediately sent me a worksheet of 7 php/security related questions. This worksheet would take even an experienced developer a couple hours to complete. At this point in the interview process, they had not even disclosed the salary for this position but are expecting me to spend a couple hours answering a worksheet. I filled out 6 of the 7 questions, skipping over one question that I knew would take me a significant amount of time and effort, leaving a note saying that I would come back to this question once we had discussed salary and assuming they liked my answers to the rest of the questions. They responded by saying that they did not want to move forward with me. I still don't know what the job pays, but I'm glad I didn't waste any more time coding for them then I already have. If you are reading this, make sure the price is right before you do any questions off of the worksheet.
