I applied through university. I interviewed at Sudina Search (Baltimore, MD) in Jun 2020
Interview
Very professional and comforting. Asked personal questions and questions regarding professional experience. Interviewer was very polite and friendly. Was not intimidating at all and made me feel very comfortable. COVID friendly zoom interview went very smoothly, very well set up and handled by Sudina
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sudina Search
Interview
Interviewer was rude, unqualified, and abusive.
First off, email correspondence from the recruiter to schedule the phone interview was unprofessional and clearly showed a lack of attention to details (misread a two-liner email).
The phone interview started by the recruiter asking a bunch of psychological questions, e.g., "Are you antsy about leaving your previous position?" When I refused to answer such questions, the recruiter said "You are the one who is unemployed, so you need to answer my questions."
During the conversation, the recruiter showed not only that his misread my resume, but also that he was ignorant about the job he was recruiting for, and could not even name one specific technical requirement for the position (the job advertisement was very vague).
In hindsight, it appears that the job ad was a hoax. If the company wasn't using it for their recruiter training, then it might be trying to benefit in some way from collecting job seekers' information. Glassdoor should disallow this company from advertising jobs on its site.
