I applied online. I interviewed at Sunny Hills Management (West Covina, CA)
Interview
Starts off with an application and an accounting test in person. - very old school - application can be done and printed at home instead of wasting applicants time.. - I was seconds away from leaving - They have about 3-4 pages of interview questions that aren't necessary for an ENTRY-level position. - Please consider asking 3-4 pages if it was a six figure job. - Overall, they were nice.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sunny Hills Management (Long Beach, CA) in Nov 2020
Interview
The communication was terrible and no professionalism whatsoever.
- Emailed my resume
- Received a response to do a phone interview
- The phone interview was pushed out over 2 hours with last minute updates via email. Lasted about 25 minutes
- Received email confirmation to do an in person interview
- The property manager was over 30 minutes late to the interview. She was also picking up phone calls during the interview and sneezing every second. The office was so disorganized and outdated. This is one of those company that is "doing what works for them" to survive with slow progression of growth. Very slow.
- After the interview, I was assured she would have her reporting manager look over it and I would have an answer by the end of the week (interviewed on a Tuesday). I followed up that Friday and was told that they didn't have time to look over resumes so it will be next week
- It's been over 2 months.... NEVER received ANY updates about how they planned to proceed WHATSOEVER. Dodged a bullet for sure. This tells you everything you need to know about a company's professional, communication, lack of ambition. This is just one perspective.

Question 1
Irrelevant questions - nothing was prepared. Literally sat there shaking heads.
