Applied online then had an initial call. They asked mostly competency based questions, then I had to stand on shop floor to promote a product for 15 or so minutes.

Interview
After applying for a job Superdrug rang me to ask me to come in for an interview, they gave me a choice of 2 upcoming days. I dressed smart casual, leaning more to smart, and arrived a few minutes early. The first part of my interview was being interviewed one on one, then I was asked to stand at the door and hand out interview samples for about 5-10 minutes before going back to the office and being asked a few more questions. The entire interview took 30 minutes.

They asked me about my availability, about advice I would give to Superdrug customers on gift buying and self tan. I was asked about any relevant experiences and if I could keep a good sense of humour at work.
I was told my answers were all great but they just needed to hire someone with more experience as it's 'fast paced'.

Really friendly interview and quite intuitive. One question they did ask me was basically how to upsell a face wash, and what other things you'd recommend alongside that. Very friendly and informal, casual dress is fine
