Interview
The interview process began with a phone screen with the team. During the phone screen, the interviewer took the time to get to know my background and give me more insight into the company. Overall this was very much a discussion of fit.
After this initial phone screen, I was given an exercise to complete before the final round interview. The exercise took about an hour and was centered around understanding Swell's product. The follow up interview mostly focused on this exercise and within a few days of the follow up interview I received an offer over the phone.

Interview
Overall a really great experience! After a separate role I found on angel.co had been filled, the CEO reached out to discuss different opportunities. We chatted on the phone for a bit and he filled me in on the background of the company and where they sat in the e-comm marketplace. We set up a more formal in-person interview where I met him, the CTO and a few other members of the team that lasted about 3 hours. The whole process was very conversational, but I definitely got all my questions answered and left feeling very educated about the company.
