I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Swiftly Systems in Aug 2024
Interview
After the screening call, they sent me a take-home.
I believe most companies that make you do a take-home before even a technical interview, are companies that don't value people time... but I hoped this was an exception. Of course, it wasn't.
I completed it in 24hrs. Just after 3 days, I receive an email saying the position was already filled. The take-home? No feedback at all, no mention about it.
Plus, the strange woman that interviewed me was quite disgusting and unprofessional. Again, why do you keep sending take-homes to the candidates if you are already filling the position with someone else?

Interview
I found the recruiter to be very unprofessional. She set 3 interviews on the same day - Talent Acquisition, Product and Technical. I asked what technical would include and she wrote me it would be about technologies I used. 1. The product interview was with the hiring manager. She did a great job describing the role and seemed nice but didn't seem very attentive to what I had to say. It was mainly standard behavioral interview. 2. The technical interview was not technical. It was a product sense interview, which I've done in the past, it just took me by surprise as it was not what she said it would be. I was asked to improve Spotify (even though I mentioned I hardly use the app). So I opened it and went through the flow of market analysis, users analysis, pain points, solutions. ** I have never heard back from anyone in the company. The recruiter didn't reach out to ask how it went or to tell me they are proceeding with other candidates.

Interview
Ghosted. Very unprofessional. I interviewed with the recruiter, hiring manager, VP of retail growth, VP of Engineering, Principal Product Manager and the Sr. Director of Professional Services. I had 6 interviews and they all went pretty well. Each person and the recruiter said they would get back to me asap with next steps either way. I have reached out several times via email and LinkedIn to both recruiters and have heard nothing back. Honestly, I can see being too busy to get back to a candidate that only had one interview but not getting back to someone who met with 6 people really says a lot about their culture. Also, their Sr. Director of Prof services asked me interview questions and then would cut me off and talk over me while I tried to respond... very glad I accepted another offer. I saw a lot of red flags while interviewing at Swiftly.
