I was called by the hiring manager, who was also my first-line supervisor when I got hired on. He asked general questions and gave information about the type of job you are being hired for, as well as compensation, benefits, and other information.

Question 1
I was asked about my job history and depth of experience. The interview questions weren't really geared to specifically locate a qualified candidate. If you are able to speak general trade language, you have a chance of being hired. This hurts the company because the people that are hired may not be qualified to perform the specific work they expect you to do.
