Interview
Two weeks after applying online, a recruiter reached out to me and gave a brief overview of the role and the company. A few days later, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. About two weeks later, I went to the Chicago office for a panel interview with the team. A week later, I spoke with an HR rep about cultural fit for the company.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Synchrony in Dec 2024
Interview
HR phone screening, a 30-minute round with the hiring manager, and a panel interview with team members and someone from another team. There was supposed to be a final round with HR, but I didn’t make it that far. This was one of the best interview experiences I’ve had. The people were very nice and kept the interview less formal—not just going down a list of questions one by one. They were interested in whether you have business acumen and some coding experience.
