Interview process was pretty standard - screening interview by HR, phone interview with hiring manager, and on-site interview. The recruiter from HR did nothing in the screening interview to introduce the company, sell the role, or even give me an opportunity to ask questions. When I answered the phone she said, "are you ready?" then launched into a series of questions she was reading off of a sheet. The on-site interview was weird. They flew me into Houston to meet face-to-face with the hiring manager, no one else. There was no discussion with HR, no conversation with any team members. There was really no way for me to identify if the opportunity was a good fit for me as there was no interaction that allowed me to get a sense of the culture or how the organization functioned. As an employer, I do not recommend Sysco.
