      Equity Research Interview

      13 Feb 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at T. Rowe Price in Oct 2018

      Interview

I met the hiring manager through at a stock pitch conference and got his business card. A few days later, I emailed him asking to learn more about the internship. He immediately put me in contact with his assistant and set up a phone interview for later that week. Because I had already pitched a stock to him at the conference, I only had to complete a 20-minute phone interview that was purely behavioral. The hiring manager just wanted to learn more about me both personally and professionally. I received an offer the next day.
