I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at TCF (New Lenox, IL) in May 2014
Interview
The actual location for my interview was quite far from the location I applied for. Aside from that, the interview was both professional and casual. My interviewer did a great job of making me feel comfortable and relaxing throughout the interview while maintaining a sense of professionalism. We first discussed my previous employment experiences, then we did a quick role play where I was given a few minutes to read a product pamphlet and then had to try to sell one of those products to "a customer in aisle at the grocery store". We talked about my performance during the role play, and finally we discussed opportunities for career advancement at TCF Bank. This was the first interview, with HR. I then had an identical interview with the branch manager of the location I applied for.

Interview
Interveiw process was quick, simple, and painless. Ask about your hours and why TCF. talked about past work. The interview process was probably the quickest and easiest step. The HR lady was really nice and she had a lot of knowledge
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TCF (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2014
Interview
Surprisingly, for a minimum wage salary, it was a pretty in-depth interview process. There was a phone interview, online test, a recruiting interview at a main branch, and then an interview with the manager at the branch you would be working at. (Although this is pretty standard for bank jobs, I guess I was surprised with how low they were paying tellers and how much responsibility they wanted them to have)
