Met with one of the owners and the president. Discussed my military background and experiences, and my work with one of the nation's leading defense contractors. Talked about the position and what the job would entail. The president let me know of the difficulties I would face in implementing a PMO at the company, given the reluctance of some in leadership to pursue such a major change in "how we do business." The interview lasted about an hour. I was hired two days later.
