The technical recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn mentioning that my profile is a match for the role and to share my professional resume with their work email address. I shared my resume the following evening. After 3 weeks of not hearing back nor receiving any further communication via LinkedIn, I received a reply during the 4th week stating that I did not meet the requirements for the job role in terms of experience specific to VMware products. Why reach out to a candidate on LinkedIn requesting they apply when it is clearly laid out on the LinkedIn profile exactly how much experience the candidate has?
