Was a quick 20min *recorded* in-person interview.
Was told by the interviewer that the recording would be so the higher-ups can review.
The interview was not a dialogue, but rather a one-way questioning asking basic questions. No opportunity for to ask and learn more about them or their needs.
For this type of questioning, this should have been a phone screen.
"If we did a background check, would we find anything?" (Approximate wording) The way/tone the interviewer asked this came off as offensive. She could have worded it differently to prevent that.
You could tell from the barricaded receptionist desk, ID verification and that question that some of who they deal with as clients have rough backgrounds.
They're the type of Interviewer who won't reach out to let you know if you've been rejected for the position and will only reach out if they want you for another interviewer.
Overall not a friendly environment or a good interview experience.
