Interview
Absolute sham. Recruiter engaged, had interview, sent him 2 emails, one confirming interview went ahead, then 2 days later, another saying i don't believe I was even in the running. Ghosted. Nothing back for 3 weeks until I pinged CEO to say I knew I didn't get role but FYI on what I encountered. He then obviously engaged with recruiter who came back with usual justifications. No excuse whatsoever cuts it for ghosting. Second, 30 min interview with senior staff member started 6 minutes late- however 1 interviewer only who said key person role reports to isnt coming, but went ahead with interview anyway, and every question was "programme director can answer that but not here". No substance to interview either, just vanilla questions on 'how did you deal with'. Limited though. And then "bye thanks for coming". The entire process was a joke and the worst e2e I have experienced for a long time- why hold the interview if your key decision maker absent? icing on cake is being ghosted by recruiter. But hey, no problem, as going forward and responsible for a lot of vendor selection, I know who not to select as much as who to select. finally, search on reviews on Glass Door for the Company, and also if you run a search online you will also see public domain employment tribunal decision against them. All in all, appalling experience by all involved and never an excuse for ghosting- no humility as usual nowadays by recruiters. Just excuses.
