I have had over 7 interviews in the Cincinnati area, most plumbing shops will either take walk-in interviews or require a call ahead of time. So for TP Mechanical I called ahead of time and was told that I could fill out an application and talk with someone. When I arrived I received an application form and some sort of test. I didn't mind taking the test but I simply had questions about the company before continuing so I asked if I could speak with a manager. Couple moments later a manager suddenly shows ups seeming quite assertive shows me into a dark room to answer my questions. Each one of my questions was given a quick and forward response. I had questions about the schooling and if their curriculum involved training apprentices into becoming master plumbers eventually. The manager responded that the only reason I would want to be a master plumber is if I wanted to get into business and hinting that it would be a bad idea and shook his head. Overall I appreciate the manager taking the time to explain the company to me however the entire process was very awkward. I can still vividly remember having an interview in a dark room barely able to see the manager's face giving me very assertive answers.
