Very disappointing hiring process.
I interviewed for the Business Analyst position and completed three rounds of interviews on 26 May, 28 May, and 1 June. The interview experience itself was positive And I got result after 1 hours on the 1st and 2nd round of interview.
However, during the final managerial round(3rd round), I was informed that my interview performance was good, but the company was looking for a candidate with 2+ years of experience. This raised a serious concern for me. If the experience requirement was a key hiring criterion, it should have been evaluated during the initial HR screening itself rather than after three rounds of interviews.
After the final round, I waited nearly 15 days for an update. Despite following up, there was no clear communication regarding the status of my application. Eventually, I received a generic rejection email that did not mention the actual reason discussed during the interview or provide any meaningful feedback.
The entire process felt poorly managed. Candidates invest significant time and effort preparing for multiple interview rounds, and they deserve transparency, timely communication, and consistent feedback. Rejecting a candidate based on an experience requirement that was already known from the beginning reflects a lack of coordination in the hiring process.
