Interview
Visiting the office in Hsinchu because the fab in Kaohsiung haven't built yet. No compensation for transportation. What you did in your phd no need to be relevant. It's more about your personality and eager to work.

Interview
3 rounds with department and 2 with HR. This include psychological and offer bargaining. Overall interview is very relaxing and is more of understanding you instead. However, be aware of the job title as the actual job can be misleading.

Interviewers shared briefly the job scope and description. Round 2: 1. Present a technical presentation on your previous job/post graduate work. 2. Why did you choose tsmc and why Taiwan? 3. Are you single or married, do you have a girlfriend? 4. If you are here for a few years, it will be damaging to our department as we need time to train you and groom a talent. 5. Tell me about yourself in 3mins besides your previous job and work.
