During the interview, I spoke with someone from the relevant department rather than an HR representative or manager. The salary amount we discussed was said to have been confirmed with their superior, so I believed it would remain unchanged.
However, when HR later contacted me to confirm the offer, the salary presented was RM400–500 lower than what had been previously discussed. They were also unable to clearly explain the benefits and could not provide a definite answer regarding the actual salary after the probation period.
Additionally, I found out that employees are required to cover their own parking fees, which would cost approximately RM100+ per month.
All of this has made me feel a bit uncertain about the overall offer.
