      Human Resources Field Manager Interview

      2 Dec 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Taco Bell (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2020

      Interview

The interview process for this position was very time consuming and repetitive. From my first initial phone screening to the final decision of "going in another direction" the process took over 2 months. I was very disappointed with the lack of transparency as to why I was passed over for the position when I had received very positive feedback throughout the entire process. The position was newly re-posted although I was told that they had another more qualified candidate. Overall, very poor and unprofessional communication all around. It seemed as though the interviewers that I spoke with had not communicated well with each other as each interview was extremely similar with few in depth questions presented. Furthermore, on two separate occasions the interviewers were over 30 minutes late to the scheduled time. I had to reach out to the recruiter in both instances to ask if something was wrong. Overall, the process showed me that the management team does not respect candidates' time and therefore likely do not respect their employees either. While I still love the brand, I feel as though their corporate team has much to be desired- bullet dodged!
