I was selected as a Ninja Cadet through the NQT test. The process began with an online assessment that included simple aptitude questions — easily manageable with some preparation from online resources or YouTube. There was also a basic coding question. If you’re familiar with basic programming and can solve easy problems on HackerRank, you'll be just fine. After clearing the assessment, I moved on to the interview stage. The interview involved fundamental programming questions (including some from SQL). They also asked a few behavioral and general awareness questions, such as: How do you feel in crowds? What’s the population of TCS? If you ever have a disagreement or standoff with a manager or someone senior, how would you handle the situation? The interview was more about understanding your technical basics, your attitude, and how well you’d fit into the organization.

I think it was technical and they really grind you to get the answers. Though it was a good experience as the panel was very helpful and supportive and helped during the interview as well.
