I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TechMD in Aug 2021
Interview
Went through 3/4 rounds of interviews. Each one had its own process. First one was a general overall interview with HR to get a sense of how you are. Second interview was mostly technical and diving deeper into your experience and how it relates to the the job you are applying for. Last interview, which I thought was the best idea any company can do is a group/culture interview. This is where the team you would potentially work with ask you questions vary from what your hobbies are to how your work ethic is. Really great process but I ended up turning down the offer due to their complex pay structure. You're paid per project/hour and you have to specifically log each process. Although, they guarantee there are plenty of projects for you to work on but you have to meet a quota to get your salary. If not, you're bumped down to base pay (about 20k difference depending on your pay) although you can make more if you're doing really well. I felt this would be too much a of distraction to worry about pay for each pay period. I ended up talking to a previous employee and he mentioned that the pay was always an issue which is why he left. Seemed like a great company to work for but it looks like the corporate money factor is it's Achilles heel.
If you're really interested in doing well in the interview, be yourself, and be very familiar with their motto found on their website.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at TechMD (Costa Mesa, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied and was asked to do a video interview answering questions. Didn't hear anything for more than two months. I had already found another job but wanted to still give them a shot since I felt I would enjoy that work more. They asked me to fill out another form and set up an interview date over email. Went to the office, was dark and was not shown around. Instead they had me fill out a questionnaire to gauge my skills and knowledge. Then two people interviewed me but felt like they didn't think I was serious about taking the job and questioned my plans for the future as if I could not accomplish what I wanted to do, felt offended by the main guy. Then they told me they wanted to make sure I fit their "culture". I felt uncomfortable and was glad to leave.
Thank you for providing feedback regarding your interview experience as this helps us improve our process for the candidate and TechMD. We are sorry that you felt uncomfortable and didn’t feel welcomed when you arrived. It is our highest priority to make sure that even if you were not offered a position with the company, that you still leave with a positive encounter with our team. The way we maintain our company culture is by making a mutually beneficial decision of hiring individuals who reflect our specific values in order for the employee to be successful at TechMD. If you are open, we would love you provide any more specific details of how you felt offended so we can prevent making anyone else feel that way?
